Apply for garbage and organics curbside collection on a private road or Common Collection Point - (CCP, shared pickup location)

If you do not receive curbside collection, you can submit an application for collection:

  • on a private road, or
  • at a Common Collection Point (CCP, shared pickup location)

Find the option that fits your situation

Private road collection

This may be a good option if:

  • you live on a privately owned road
  • the road can safely support collection trucks
  • all property owners agree to the service

Common Collection Point Location

This may be a good option if:

  • your road cannot support collection trucks
  • you need a shared pickup location nearby
  • your road owner approves the location

Review the details below before you apply. Not sure which option is right? Contact us before applying.

Check your road status before you apply

You cannot apply if your road:

  • is planned to become a municipal road
  • is in the process of becoming a municipal or provincial road.
  • If the road owner(s) does not agree to the trucks being on the road.

This is called road assumption. It means the road will become publicly owned and maintained.
Check with your local municipality if you are not sure who owns your road.
