Curbside Collection - Delays and Impacts
Currently the District is not expecting any delays or impacts to curbside collection.
Significant Weather Event - Missed Collection
Wondering what to do with your materials?
Residents with cancelled collection, that were scheduled for bi-weekly garbage, have two options for managing their garbage:
- Hold until your next scheduled garbage collection day. You will be allowed to put out double your limit to reflect the missed collection (four garbage bags); or
- Take your garbage for drop-off at the Rosewarne Transfer (or Beiers Transfer Station once open) when safe to do so.
Residents with cancelled collection, that were not scheduled for bi-weekly garbage, are to manage their waste as follows:
- Place your material (garbage, recycling and green bin) for set-out as usual.
Businesses with cancelled collection as part of the Downtown Business Collection Area routes are to manage their waste as follows:
- Place out additional tagged garbage bags (maximum 10). As a reminder, only tagged garbage bags will be collected.
- Place out additional recycling. The recycling limits will be doubled (eight blue boxes) to reflect the missed collection.
