District Chair Jeff Lehman
District Chair Jeff Lehman was elected at Muskoka District Council's Inaugural meeting held December 5, 2022 for the 2022-2026 term of Council.
Duties of the District Chair are prescribed through The Municipal Act, 2001, and include:
- Act as the Chief Executive Officer of the District Municipality
- Provide overall leadership to the affairs of the Council and its Committees
- Act as spokesperson for the District Municipality on major issues of policy and direction
- Manage the District's external relationships with other organizations and levels of government

Deputy Chair Rick Maloney
Pursuant to Council's Procedure By-law 2020-1 the Deputy Chair acts as the Head of Council in the absence of the Chair, and has all the powers and duties of the District Chair while so acting.
