The District Municipality of Muskoka operates programs to help residents who are experiencing homelessness, or who are at risk of becoming homeless, with supports and services. Read more about these programs and services below:
Do You Need Financial Help with Housing?
The District of Muskoka Housing Support Fund can help eligible individuals and families with:
- rent (owing);
- moving costs;
- utility bills (owing);
- fuel;
- food security; and
- other necessities.
This program is able to provide this support through funding from the Province's Community Homelessness Prevention Initiative. To apply for assistance, please contact us by email or telephone at 705-645-2412 ext. 4363, Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm, excluding holidays.
