January 7, 2021 (Bracebridge, ON) – Testing has confirmed additional COVID-19 resident cases and additional staff cases at the Pines Long-Term Care Home (the Pines). The Pines remains in outbreak status until further notice.

January 6, 2022 (Bracebridge, ON) – In accordance with the return to a Modified Step Two of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen, the District of Muskoka offices remain open at this time to support residents with core in-person services. These offices include the District’s main administration office and court building in Bracebridge and the District’s Community Services offices in Huntsville and Gravenhurst.

January 4, 2022 (Bracebridge, ON) - On Monday, January 3, the Premier announced that schools would remain closed to in-person learning until January 17. Students enrolled in publicly-funded schools across Muskoka will now be engaged in virtual learning effective Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

Monday, January 3, 2022 (Bracebridge, ON) - Earlier today, the Premier announced that schools would remain closed to in-person learning. Students enrolled in publicly-funded schools across Muskoka will now be engaged in virtual learning effective Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
