Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024 (Muskoka, ON) – The District’s curbside collection schedule will temporarily shift over the holiday season. There will be no curbside collection on Christmas Day (Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024) or New Year’s Day (Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025). For the weeks of Dec. 22 and Dec. 29 collection will move one day later for residents whose regular pickup days are Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Friday, November 15, 2024 (Muskoka, ON) – The Canadian Union of Postal Workers are now on a nationwide strike. The strike will cause an interruption in postal service and will impact delivery of all mail and parcels. The District has made preparations to support residents, clients and customers who rely on postal services to access District services such as Ontario Works program support or for making water and sewer payments.
