Ravenscliffe Roadto temporarily close starting the week of Monday, March 2 for culvert replacement
Muskoka, ON - The District of Muskoka is replacing the Bittern Creek culvert with a new structure. To ensure this work is completed safely and ahead of the spring thaw, constructionand a full road closure on Ravenscliffe Road (also known as Muskoka Road 2), near Old Novar Road,are scheduled to take place starting the week of March 2. Work is anticipated to be completed in April 2026.

Silver Bridge remains closed to vehicles and pedestrians during construction
February 4, 2026 (Muskoka, ON)- The District of Muskoka hasinitiated the next phase of work this week to complete repairs of the historic Silver Bridge in the Town of Bracebridge.Clearwater Structures Inc. is on site installing a temporary support structure that will be used during construction.The bridge is scheduled to reopenby the end of 2026.

December 28, 2025 (Muskoka, ON)– The District has declared a Significant Weather Event for all District roads throughout Muskoka, effective immediately. The declaration is due to Freezing Rain and Winter Storm Warnings issued by Environment Canada, forecasting weather conditions that are expected to impact road maintenance operations.
