The District of Muskoka is reminding residents that garbage collection changes to bi-weekly pick-up, the first week of November. During the winter schedule, recycling and green bin organics (in urban areas) continue to be collected weekly.

Improvements continue on the Muskoka Road 10 (Britannia) East Bridge, 3.6km east of Muskoka Road 2, near Huntsville.

The overnight bridge balancing work was successful and the District has eliminated the need for additional full overnight closures. The Port Sandfield Swing Bridge on Peninsula Road (MR7) is fully open.
