Three images of three different community centres

The District Municipality of Muskoka is expanding its WISE Mobile Active Living Centre into three additional rural communities this fall, making it easier for adults aged 55 and over to access free programs closer to home.

WISE supports healthy, independent living by bringing people together to build friendships, learn about local resources, and participate in engaging activities in a welcoming community setting.

Programs run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include:

  • Coffee and tea social time
  • Health education sessions
  • General interest presentations
  • Arts and crafts
  • Information about local services and supports
  • Nutritious lunch

Beginning this fall, WISE programs will also be offered at:

Aspdin Community Hall

Location: 2626 Aspdin Road, Huntsville

Third Thursday of each month

Baysville Autumn Leaves Centre

12 University Street, Baysville

Fourth Thursday of each month

Beaver Ridge Estates

1007 Raccoon Road, Gravenhurst

Fourth Wednesday of each month

Find friendship, learning and community – close to home.
