The District of Muskoka, in partnership with the Muskoka Economic Recovery Task Force (MERTF) and the Muskoka Employment Partnership, will be hosting a virtual job fair on Thursday April 22, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. This free event will help connect employers with job seekers ahead of the busy summer season in Muskoka. The fair will be hosted virtually using the online events platform Hopin, which has been funded through a sponsorship from the Parry-Sound Muskoka Community Network.
“The goal of the fair is to boost workforce development and promote economic recovery in Muskoka,” said John Klinck, District Chair and Chair of the Muskoka Economic Recover Task Force. “It is vital that we do everything we can to help employers and job seekers make connections that will support our businesses and our communities this summer and beyond.”

PLEASE NOTE: Job seekers do not have to register in order to participate in the event. However, registration is encouraged in order to receive additional information and to access technical support before and during the event.
The goal the Muskoka Economic Recover Task Force (MERTF) is to minimize the effects of the pandemic on businesses across Muskoka and respond by undertaking strategic actions that enable recovery while ensuring strong economic outcomes both during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. MERTF is made up of representatives from the District of Muskoka, Area Municipal Economic Development Leads, Chambers of Commerce, Muskoka Parry Sound MP and MPP Offices, Muskoka Tourism Agencies and the Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations. The Muskoka Employer Partnership is a project funded by the Province of Ontario that is working to promote connections between employers and the community.
