Muskoka Official Plan Comprehensive Review (Proposed Work Plan)
TAKE NOTICE THAT: The District Municipality of Muskoka will hold a special meeting of Community and Planning Services Committee on:

70 Pine Street, Bracebridge
The District Municipality of Muskoka is seeking feedback on the proposed Work Plan of the Five-Year Comprehensive Muskoka Official Plan Review. This meeting will serve to formally initiate the current Official Plan review process. This project pertains to the whole of the District Municipality of Muskoka.
A range of policy areas are anticipated to require review and potential updates as part of this process, including, but not necessary limited to;
- Archaeological Master Plan
- Watershed Management Initiatives and Lake System Health Policies
- Climate Action
- Growth Strategy
- Resort Development Policies
- Mapping Updates
- Housekeeping and Provincial Policy Updates
The review is anticipated to be progressed in phases, with a series of individual amendments proposed. Other areas for review may be identified through public and stakeholder input and further Planning staff review. Opportunities for further public input on any proposed policy revisions will be provided in the future.
Members of the public or agencies wishing to make oral submissions in regards to the proposed Work Plan may do so by attending the meeting in person. Written submissions will be accepted any time during the Five-Year Comprehensive Official Plan Review at MOP@muskoka.on.ca.
