Muskoka, ON – September 11, 2025 – The District Municipality of Muskoka is pleased to announce the appointment of JC Gilbert as Chief of Paramedic Services and Emergency Management, effective September 22, 2025.

With more than 20 years of experience in paramedic services, including 19 years in leadership roles, Mr. Gilbert brings extensive expertise in operations, emergency preparedness, and system modernization. “I am honoured to join the District of Muskoka,” said Mr. Gilbert. “Muskoka’s unique communities and dedicated Paramedic Services team inspire me. I look forward to building on our strengths and ensuring the safety and resilience of all residents and visitors.”
