The District of Muskoka is reminding residents that garbage collection changes to bi-weekly pick-up, the first week of November. During the winter schedule, recycling and green bin organics (in urban areas) continue to be collected weekly.

Residents are reminded to set collection items out by 7 a.m. for curbside collection.

Residents are encouraged to download the free Muskoka Recycles mobile app so we can notify you if there are winter weather impacts to your route. Another great resource is www.muskokarecycles.ca for collection calendars, bi-weekly schedules, directions to waste facilities, to report a problem or ask a question and to use the Waste Wizard. You can also set alerts for collection reminders through the app and never miss a garbage day again!
