TAKE NOTICE THAT: The District of Muskoka Community and Planning Services Committee and the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Gravenhurst will hold an Electronic Concurrent Public Meeting on:
TUESDAY, APRIL 26, 2022, at 5:00 P.M.
This meeting will be held ELECTRONICALLY in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, which provides for Electronic Participation in accordance with the Town of Gravenhurst Procedural By-law, and the District of Muskoka Procedural By-law 2020-1.
THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING IS TO CONSIDER a proposed amendment to Zoning By-law 10-04 (as amended) of the Town of Gravenhurst and a proposed draft plan of subdivision, pursuant to the provisions of Sections 34 and 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended.
AN EXPLANATION of the Purpose and Effect of the proposed draft plan of subdivision and draft by-law, describing the lands to which the applications apply, and a key map showing the location of the lands, accompanies this notice.
ANY PERSON OR AGENCY may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the draft plan of subdivision and/or the proposed by-law. Submissions respecting the proposed draft plan of subdivision should be forwarded to The District of Muskoka. Submissions respecting the proposed zoning by-law amendment should be forwarded to The Town of Gravenhurst.
Members of the public wishing to comment are strongly encouraged to make a written submission to Council or Committee any time prior to the meeting by emailing Adam Ager, Manager of Planning Services adam.ager@gravenhurst.ca or by emailing Kassidee Fior, Manager of Planning kassidee.fior@muskoka.on.ca. Members of the public wishing to make oral submissions to Council may do so through Zoom. A link to the Zoom meetings and instructions on how to participate will be made available to the public prior to the meeting at: www.gravenhurst.ca/agendas. Written submissions may also be submitted at any time until the date a decision is made.
