Doing Business with the District

The District purchases a variety of goods and services, most of which are purchased through a competitive procurement process. As a municipal government it is our responsibility to ensure that tax dollars are spent in a transparent, responsible, and fair manner while ensuring the maximum benefit for each tax dollar spent.

If you are a supplier interested in doing business with the District of Muskoka, you can access bid opportunities valued at $139,000 or more on Biddingo.

Procurements valued at less than $139,000 may bid by invitation only.

Bid Opportunities

The District has partnered with Biddingo to post, distribute and receive electronic responses to the District's procurement solicitations.   The District's procurement portal is:  www.biddingo.com/muskoka

Construction Act

Information is available to District construction contractors on Prompt Payment and a sample Proper Invoice.  Please note that the prompt payment and adjudication provisions of the Construction Act do not apply to a contract or subcontract entered into on or after October 1, 2019 if a procurement process was commenced before October 1, 2019.
