Doing Business with the District
The District purchases a variety of goods and services, most of which are purchased through a competitive procurement process. As a municipal government it is our responsibility to ensure that tax dollars are spent in a transparent, responsible, and fair manner while ensuring the maximum benefit for each tax dollar spent.
If you are a supplier interested in doing business with the District of Muskoka, you can access bid opportunities valued at $100,000 or more on Biddingo.
Procurements valued at less than $100,000 are bid by invitation only.

The following conditions, standards and specifications are referenced in documents issued by the District:
Construction Act
Information is available to District construction contractors on Prompt Payment and a sample Proper Invoice. Please note that the prompt payment and adjudication provisions of the Construction Act do not apply to a contract or subcontract entered into on or after October 1, 2019 if a procurement process was commenced before October 1, 2019.
Disposal of Surplus Assets
From time-to-time, the District may declare assets surplus and/or obsolete. These assets are disposed according to Muskoka's Disposal of Surplus Assets Policy. We use GovDeals to dispose of surplus assets.
