About our Employer Survey |
The District of Muskoka is considering forming a Local Immigration Partnership or LIP to support the community in becoming a welcoming place for newcomers to Canada. LIP's are one way that organizations in the community can identify where they can do a better job working together to help newcomers find employment and housing, get access to health care and language skills and feel like they belong to the community. What is the purpose of this survey? The personal information in this survey is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, c. 25. The information will be used for the purposes of developing the District of Muskoka feasibility study for a Local Immigration Partnership. About our Newcomer Survey |
The District of Muskoka is considering forming a Local Immigration Partnership or LIP to support the community in becoming a welcoming place for newcomers to Canada. LIP's are one way that organizations in the community can identify where they can do a better job working together to help newcomers find employment and housing, get access to health care and language skills and feel like they belong to the community. The purpose of this survey is to understand the experience of newcomers in Muskoka. The information in this survey will be used and disclosed by the District of Muskoka for the purposes of writing a feasibility study for the Government of Canada to decide if Muskoka should have a Local Immigration Partnership. No. You do not have to complete this survey. It is entirely voluntary. However, if you do choose to complete this survey, you will be helping to make Muskoka a better place for newcomers. Should you choose to complete the survey, it will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
