District of Muskoka Long-Term Care
The District of Muskoka owns and operates two Long-Term Care Homes. Both Homes follow the Ministry of Long-Term Care COVID-19 guidelines when not in outbreak.
What is long-term care?
Long-term care homes are homes above all — places where people can live comfortably while having their care needs met.
Long-term care homes are residential homes, where each resident receives ongoing care. People may require this level of support due to advancing age, disability or declining health.
What services are provided in our Homes?
Nursing and personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, treatment and medication administration, meals, laundry services, and social/recreational programs.
