EarlyON Muskoka offers a variety of drop-in programs so you can arrive anytime during operating hours.

Baby Talk is open from 9:00am - 12:00pm and if there is a guest speaker, they present from 10:00am - 11:00am.

Our lunch days typically have the lunch served around 10:45am.

For Nature-Play-Kinship, Forest Families and Trek the Trails, it is good to arrive at the program start time before the group ventures off into the woods.

First Step to Participating - Get a Family/Centre Code!

A simple one-time Participation Form is required for you to complete. You will receive a Family/Centre Code which you will use to sign in to all EarlyON Muskoka programs.

Healthy Participation

Do you or any person participating in EarlyON Muskoka have any of these symptoms?

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose/congestion
  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • Pink eye

Out of courtesy of staff and families, please remain at home until symptoms pass.

FAQ's

Do I have to register to attend programs?

A one-time Participation Form is to be completed. You will then receive a Family Code to use when you sign into programs.

Do I need to pre-register to attend program?

Only a few of our EarlyON programs require pre-registration, otherwise come any time during operating hours.

How do I add family members to my Family Code?

On the Registration page of the website, there is a drop-down link to add new members to your family code. It can be found here.

What if I don’t know anyone?

Email us at earlyon@muskoka.on.ca and we can chat.

I don’t have transportation to get to program.

Reach out to EarlyON Manager, Christine Waller, 705-645-2412 ext. 4555 and we will set you up with a local taxi company.

Did You Know?  You can sync any program from our new online calendar directly into your mobile device! Just click on our program calendar, choose the program you're interested in (don't forget to register where required) and click "Add to Calendar".

Baby Talk *in-person or virtual upon request 

This program helps families make connections with peers, community, and available resources. Educators share their knowledge and support families navigating the post-partum, and infant/toddler stages.

Often guest speakers are invited to share information on relevant information, such as speech and language, sleep, mental health and so much more.  Most presentations occur between 10:00am - 11:00am.

Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Age Group: parents with infants and toddlers 0-18 months of age.

  • Tuesdays – Huntsville, Bethel Church
  • Thursdays – Gravenhurst EarlyON Hub
  • Fridays – Bracebridge United Church

Eat, Learn, Grow *in-person + indoor

With the support of volunteers, a healthy homemade soup is typically served by 11:00am during EarlyON’s regular Play-Learn-Connect program. **Wednesday, January 21st programs Cancelled**

Age Group: Families with children 0-6 years of age.

Food for Thought *virtual

Register online and enjoy an informative discussion on relevant topics about parenting. EarlyON provides a homemade frozen dinner to your doorstep the day of the workshop, so you can relax and enjoy the discussion with dinner already made.

 Forest Families *in-person + outdoors

Drop-in and join us in connecting with the land and cultivating a sense of community. Forest Families will foster rich outdoor learning experiences through guided and child-lead activities. We gather outdoors in front of the Club House for both guided and child led nature activities. We head to the forest for more exploration. If needed, we spend some time warming up in the Club House and furthering exploring nature through books, play, and opportunities to create.

Time: Tuesdays, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Age Group: All

Location: Morrison Meadows

Nature, Play, Kinship *in-person + outdoors 

We gather outdoors in front of the Club House for both guided and child led nature activities. We head to the forest for more exploration. If needed, we spend some time warming up in the Club House and furthering exploring nature through books, play, and opportunities to create.

Time: Fridays at Morrison Meadows, Bracebridge 9:00am - 12:00pm **Cancelled January 23rd**

Play, Learn, Connect *in-person + indoor 

No matter which location you choose, fun will be had! Welcome to the opportunity to connect with others, receive a warm welcome from the EarlyON Educators, enjoy a coffee/tea and snack. Discover you’re not alone on the journey of parenthood.

Well researched messy play and risky play experiences are offered, along with the chance to sit back and enjoy observing your child as they play and discover. Several opportunities to engage with your child one on one and with others.

Learn what your community has to offer to support your child’s development.
