Weekly Wednesday Update
Wednesday, October 21, 2020: Rehabilitation work continues on the Port Sandfield Swing Bridge on Muskoka Road 7 (Peninsula Road) in the Township of Muskoka Lakes until mid to late November. The work on the Port Sandfield Swing Bridge is largely dependant on favourable weather conditions and temperatures to achieve the best results. Weekly updates and construction progress will be issued each Wednesday to include a detailed schedule on any planned upcoming overnight closures.
Bridge and Road Closures – the week of October 25, 2020
Overnight full road closures begin the week of October 25, 2020. No daytime closures are being considered.
Small watercraft passage continues to be permitted. During these closures, the bridge and road will be fully closed to traffic and pedestrians - a significant detour will be in effect.

The construction schedule is still on track to meet our completion deadline and it is anticipated that no traffic impacts will occur after November 21, 2020.
