Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Jim Green It is my pleasure as Chief Administrative Officer to welcome you to The District Municipality of Muskoka and our website. I am privileged to lead the staff of this Municipality. Muskoka District was formed in 1971 to ensure that all of its residents would have access to municipal services so important to our workplace, home and family. We have a dedicated staff of experienced public service professionals who work diligently at delivering on that mandate. Who we are and what we do is set out for you here in our website. We welcome you and encourage you to take some time to get to know us. Offer your comments and your criticisms. Tell us what you need and expect from your Muskoka District government. Perhaps even more importantly, if you do not live here, I hope your visit to our site encourages you to visit Muskoka in person so you can experience, first hand, the many benefits of living, recreating and working here.
