  To apply for financial assistance, please call 705-645-2412 ext. 275 or 1-800-461-4215 ext. 275.  Ask to speak with the Intake Worker.

Emergency Shelter Fund:  People may apply for one time funding to avoid eviction or secure permanent housing.  Call Muskoka Community Services at 705-645-2412 ext. 363 or 1-800-461-4215 ext. 363.

Community Worker, Homelessness:  Housing information, eviction prevention, rent supplement and housing allowance programs.  Call Maureen Callaghan at 705-645-2412 ext. 340 or 1-800-461-4215 ext. 340.

Community Services, Housing:  Applications are available for subsidized housing.  Call 705-645-2412 ext. 280.  REMEMBER you must report any change in circumstances within 15 days.

Lake Country Community Legal Clinic:  Free legal services for people with low-income.  Advice available on your rights as a tenant.  Call 705-645-6607 or 1-800-263-4819.  

CERA - Centre for Equality Rights in Accommodation:  If you have been denied an apartment because of your income, because you are a single parent, because you have children, etc. Cera can help mediate with the landlord or help you file a human rights complain. Call 1-800-263-1139.
