Garbage and Recycling Collection Civic Holiday

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) 2010

Muskoka's Household Hazardous Waste Program now operates year round. These depots accept household hazardous waste such as batteries, liquid paint, oil, gasoline, pesticides, chemicals and much more all free of charge.

NEW:  Beginning Monday, May 3, 2010 Brendar Environmental Bracebridge Facility will operate Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The address is 1122 Rosewarne Dr., Bracebridge.  All Muskoka residents can utilize this facility.

Electronics Diversion Program (E-Waste) 2010

The District Municipality of Muskoka is pleased to announce that consumer based electronic equipment will now be accepted at selected waste depots. Equipment such as obsolete computers, printers, scanners, monitors, home electronics including stereos, VCRs, televisions and telephones will be accepted free of charge from Muskoka residents.
