Q. What happens to my resume once it has been received?
A. Once the Human Resources Department has received resumes they are reviewed and forwarded to the Hiring Manager. After evaluating the skills and abilities of each applicant, a shortlist of candidates is created. At this point, short-listed candidates may be contacted for additional information or to arrange an interview. Only the candidates who most closely meet the requirements of the position will be contacted.
Depending on the position and the circumstances, this process could take up to four weeks from the specified closing date. Due to the volume of resumes we receive, we would appreciate it if applicants did not place follow-up calls.
