Our Community Services department offers free tax clinics across Muskoka. Free tax preparation services for individuals, families, seniors and persons with disabilities with low incomes.
The 2016 Tax Supported Operating Budget and Capital Budget and Forecast, as amended and adopted by Council is available for viewing on our website.
As part of our regular maintenance program, the District will be conducting watermain flushing using hydrants from April 25 to July 1, 2016 in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Bala, Baysville, Port Carling, Mactier, Port Severn.
The PIF program offers grants of up to $2,500.00 to community members and groups wishing to build a stronger Muskoka together. The program is looking for projects led by community members who want to contribute and enhance their community.
The District of Muskoka resumes weekly Garbage collection beginning the week of May 1, 2016. This is also when travel on seasonal, private and cottage roads are attempted, if road conditions permit.
