We are committed to providing and promoting affordable access to quality child care services that enhance opportunities for early childhood development.
Children need to be cared for while their parents work. They need to be active, participate in recreation programs and eat healthy food. We offer programs, subsidies and information for parents and child care providers to ensure these needs are met.
Community Services has responsibility for Muskoka's child care system for children from birth to 12 years of age and is managed through Children and Youth Services. Management of the child care system includes:

The Muskoka Early Years Workshop Series in an opportunity to engage in professional learning with colleagues and specialist in early childhood education. This program is designed to provide educators, caregivers and other professionals with practical tools and skills for nuturing a stimulating learning environment for all of Muskoka's children.
